Issue with Monitoring and Alerts in Synchronization and Persistent Cache Refresh

ISSUE:

Impacts RadiantOne Identity Data Management v7.4.10 and later in the 7.4.x series. All versions of 8.0 and 8.1.

When a synchronization topology or a cache refresh is created, the system automatically
generates monitoring alerts (disabled by default). These alerts are intended to track pipeline state and
queue size as a basic health check. However, due to a configuration bug, the alerts do not filter by
pipeline ID. As a result, they monitor all pipelines instead of the specific pipeline they are associated
with, potentially producing inaccurate results. By default, these auto-generated alerts are disabled and cause no harm. If enabled, they may trigger false positives because they monitor unrelated pipelines.

SOLUTION:

Issue fixed in v7.4.18 and v8.1.6.
Upon upgrading, existing alerts will be patched automatically, and any newly generated alerts will
include the correct pipeline filtering.

As a workaround (if you cannot patch immediately), in affected versions, open the Classic Control Panel in Expert Mode and manually edit each alert to add filtering by your pipeline ID.
